EPSO AD5 Part 1 Study Plan: How to Organise Your Prep
A simple study plan for EPSO AD5 Part 1 (verbal, numerical, abstract): what to do each week to be ready for November.
Preparing well for Part 1 isn't about studying more, but studying better: short, focused, timed and regular sessions. Here's a simple plan up to the November tests.
The principle: consistency + timer
30-45 minutes a day beats 5 hours at the weekend. Always practise against the clock: speed and clarity under pressure are half your score.
A weekly rhythm (example)
- Mon/Wed/Fri: 30-40 min on one area (verbal → numerical → abstract), with mistake review.
- Tue/Thu: 20 min quick review of the previous session's mistakes.
- Saturday: one timed mixed mock + analysis.
- Sunday: rest or light review.
How to raise your score
- Diagnose: start with a test to find your weak area and prioritise it.
- Targeted review: understand why you're wrong, not just how much.
- Track progress: log by area to see what's improving.
- Mocks: in the last 3 weeks, recreate real conditions.
